The Process

Building your dream home is one of the most exciting journeys you’ll embark on, so trust our highly accredited team with over 15 years’ experience to guide you through the process….

Step 1 :

Initial Consultation

To begin, you’ll have a complimentary consultation with our Principal Broker. In this consultation, we will get to know you and establish what your needs and wants are. You’ll have an opportunity to share your build and design preferences, your non-negotiables, budget and we will then answer any questions you may have. We will also explain the seamless process of working with us and what we offer to ensure your journey is a pleasurable and exciting experience.

Step 2 :

Builder Shortlist

We’re confident that you’ll leave our consultation feeling empowered and excited for your new build. We will then help you with the most important task, finding the best builder for the job. Our team will request a few more details about your building goals and shortlist three builders that are best suited to your project. Staten Builders Brokers only work with builders that hold the right qualifications, licences and insurances. Furthermore, the builders we work with have a strong customer satisfaction record you can be confident that you are being connected with the most reputable builders.

Step 3 :

Builder and client meeting

We will organize a meeting between you and your chosen builder to go through your tender and the scope of works. Your builder and our team will be able to answer all of your questions and address any concerns you may have.

Step 4 :

Tender review & negotiation

Our team will run through each part of the tender so you understand everything that is included (and excluded), timeframe for the project and the conditions of the build. We can help you negotiate the terms of the tender with the builder should you have any changes you’d like made.

Step 5 :

Builder selection and contract review

At this time, we will take the tender and all the discussed changes/negotiations to your builder. A formal contract will be issued, and you will have the opportunity to have this reviewed by an independent construction lawyer so you understand your rights and obligations before any work commences.

Step 6 :

Construction

The construction of your dream home begins! Your builder will appoint an experienced project manager to facilitate the construction of your new build. With that in mind, we will be available for you should you have any questions or concerns along the way. We have extensive building experience so you’ll have complete peace of mind knowing you have us on your team!

Step 7 :

Handover

Your dream home is finally here! Our team will have an independent building inspector to complete a final inspection to ensure your build meets the agreed requirements. We will then ensure that if any rectification/changes are required, it is completed in a timely manner so we can get you into your new home as soon as possible.
